Advisory Council

We are always looking for new members who are interested in becoming involved with their local community education program. Adult members are asked to serve a three-year term and student representatives are asked to serve for one year. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: participation in new member orientation and become familiar with by-laws governing the organization; attend meetings regularly; review agenda and additional materials in advance of each meeting; seek community input regarding issues/concerns before the council; assist community education staff in identifying community needs, interests and concerns; and perform other related duties as time, interest, and ability permit.
